The word Idiot !!!!!

Wondering why i took this word!

Its simple the meaning of this particular word has changed in modern English or better say Hinglish(Hindi + English) and that too after the release of a great hit movie of Amir Khan ( 3 Idiots)...

Now! if you call someone an idiot then he/she really likes to be called an idiot!

Are public networking sites like facebook orkut etc useful??

I don't know why generally people guys say that these websites are a waste. Well me being an net savvy guy, I say it’s useful so I thought of some points to strengthen my point, so here this goes:-

• It’s a way to network and meet new people.
• Well don't expect me to keep a record of all phone numbers and calling all my long list of friends from various schools I have attended (I had many), college and after college life etc I have been associated with.
• Find your lost friends, old friends, far away ones and maintain contact with them.
• For advertisers- (especially for adverts targeting specific net savvy audience or younger generation)
• Earning way for others (see various applications in FaceBook or orkut etc, its a goooood business).
• See what others are up to (sounds fishy) or make network groups etc.. kind-of time killing method. Anyways it depends on individual preferences and perception what he does with this info or meeting ground.

Well About WASTE of time-> well if you are not doing anything constructive then u are wasting time.. My personal point of view:- I don't like people sitting infront of these websites browsing others whole day and waiting for a scrap to pour in.

Anyways if you can think of any more points then add yours too.. :)

Google introduced Knol... My review.

Well what to say about KNOL.

Knol has simple web authoring tools that make it easy to collaborate, co-author, and publish. It has community features as well: Your readers will be able to add comments and rate your article, and, if you want, they'll be able to suggest edits that you can then either accept or reject. And, just like in Blogger, you can also choose to include ads from AdSense in your knols to perhaps make a little money.

One other important difference between Knol and Blogger is that Knol encourages you to reveal your true identity. Knols are meant to be authoritative articles, and, therefore, they have a strong focus on authors and their credentials. We feel that this focus will help ensure that authors get credit for their work, make the content more credible.


In my view got their central idea from the article publishing websites such as
AC (Associatedcontent.com)
Paidcontent.com
www.constant-content.com
www.lulu.com
www.ezinearticles.com and many others (just have a look at them anyone can understand that... Paying for the content).

And a mix of wiki idea of editing the main article (but with publishers permission) and putting the whole under common license as do the others mentioned above.

Where's anything new. Yes the banner Google. Compatibility with already existing Blogger, Google Reader, Adsense and may other similar Google services. Enough reason for many to opt for the knol project which is still in beta phase.. And using this site anyone can easily convert pdf and other knol supported files to word format without using any pdf to doc converters and yes its easy to use..

Hey don't think me as someone against that of google just remembsingh is king -trailer, -songser I too have joined Knol....

I would say "A nice and well designed personal blog".....a handy one column table with usefull link plus nicely written posts like College type movies etc plus Cluster map and Chat boc facility show good prospects for the blog.Background and templete as a whole is good.I would like to give one suggestion to dear Ankit that put the blog worth box and the add to yahoo and other blog buttons below the archieve thing...and go for google adsense because they nicely matches with blog layout etc. I'll give your blog 3.5 stars out of 5..keep it up link ----> Click here.

A great social networking website with its own directory, forums, chat, User profiles, user groups etc. One thing i liked most are the forums from where users can upload and copy wordpress and blogger templates etc and can even discuss their problems with other experienced bloggers. Still in its initial phases but will definately go on a long run. Good luck!!!
